  • 1 large potato

Step 1: Slice up your potato into thin slices.

Step 2: Throw your thinly sliced potatoes in a blender. Blend on high until it is pureed.

Step 3: After cleansing your face, apply the pureed potato paste all over your face. Let it soak in for 5-10 minutes then rinse off with warm water.

How It Works

Potatoes are rich with vitamins and minerals that are therapeutic for acne. Potatoes contain vitamin B3,5, 6 and C. They are also ripe with potassium, copper, manganese, phosphorous and sulfur chloride.

Many of the nutrients and antioxidants present in potatoes are what make it so effective against inflammation and redness.

Potato juice also helps reduce the appearance of acne scars, which is a nice side effect.

  • 1 white from an egg
  • 1 tablespoon raw honey
  • 2 teaspoons cinnamon

Step 1:  In a clean bowl, whip your egg white.

Step 2:  Once frothy add in your remaining ingredients and blend.

Step 3:  Slather this mask all over your face and let it sit for 5 minutes. The egg whites will begin to flake and then you know it is time to rinse off with warm water.

Step 3:  Once your time is up, rinse your face off with warm water and apply a nice moisturizer designed for sensitive skin.

How It Works

Greek yogurt (not the low or fat-free kind, because they’re full of acne inducing sugar) is full of lactic acid which is nature’s gentle exfoliator. It also contains probiotic Lactobacillus which reduces skin inflammation.
